Student Support / Veteran and Military Services

Veteran and Military Services

To all those who have or are serving, and their families, it is time for us to serve you.

At Tiffin University we know that the college experience is vital to student success. We know that Military affiliated students have their own life situations and that sometimes that college experience isn’t exactly traditional. That’s why we offer the tools and the support to help you succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.

We serve students, it’s our passion, We advocate for you when you have enough hoops to jump through as students and military families. We provide you with dedicated support to provide the best possible student experience to active duty service members, veterans, reservists, and most importantly the families who serve them.

“Tiffin University prepared me to enter the work force as an Army Officer in many different aspects, all of which allowed me to excel with my day-to-day job responsibilities. If you are looking for a school that not only takes care of its veterans’ and active military members’ best interest, but also prepares you for your career, TU is right for you.”

— Tyler Todd / Bachelor of Arts – Government & National Security/Intelligence & Security Studies, Bachelor of Criminal Justice – Homeland Security, 2014

“Since completing my master’s degree, I was promoted to a program protection analyst at the Missile Defense Agency at the Redstone Arsenal facility. I assess supply chain risk management for our national defense systems, utilizing the same concepts taught at Tiffin University. I am proud to call TU my alma mater. I am humbled by the experiences I had with the faculty, staff and the military services office which made my dream of achieving a graduate degree a reality.”

— Erik Lawson / Master of Science, 2016

“The number one resource that facilitates success at Tiffin University is the professors in the classroom. When I first attended TU I knew what I wanted to do and where I wanted to be but was unsure about the best way to get there. However, I soon became aware that the best resource to assist me in locating a rewarding job in my field was the TU faculty and staff. Not only were these individuals well connected in their respected industries, but also able to instill in me the knowledge and tools I would need to succeed in my industry. They were able to easily develop lesson plans that came from real world scenarios and facilitated the development of analytical thinking skills, writing skills, speaking skills, and management ability…because of the hardwork and dedication of the faculty at TU, I was able to secure a job in Washington D.C. at a government agency where I use the skills taught to me everyday.”

— Alex Schuett / Bachelor of Arts – Government & National Security/Intelligence & Security Studies, 2017
